Fabulous Thrift Store Find

I was trolling the thrift stores last Thursday and I stumbled across this fabulous lamp. You know I had to have it.

A Moment of Luxury

The other day I went by the thrift store. As I was cruising down an aisle, I spotted the cutest two bowls and two plates (see photo). The bowls had "Bon Appetit" written on the inside. The plates were elegant turquoise, white and gold. I thought how lovely. For only $.50 each, I get to have my moment of luxury each time I sit down to eat. And, we do deserve our little luxuries.

Sanctuary

Besides creating gourd art, one of my passions is interior design. Where you live should be your sanctuary. It should be filled with beautiful things that reflect who you are. Over the years, I have collected many decorative elements, which I have artfully arranged in my apartment. So, when I wake up or come home from a long day out in the world, my space embraces me. It feels like a warm hug.

Trust in your inner voice. It is God, spirit, the ancestors speaking to you. They protect us, love us and want the best for us.

Change

Many people find change difficult and they fight against it. One thing I know is life is nothing but change. If we shift our thinking about change and realize that it is the constant, our lives become easier. We become part of the harmonic flow of life.
