A Moment of Luxury
The other day I went by the thrift store. As I was cruising down an aisle, I spotted the cutest two bowls and two plates (see photo). The bowls had "Bon Appetit" written on the inside. The plates were elegant turquoise, white and gold. I thought how lovely. For only $.50 each, I get to have my moment of luxury each time I sit down to eat. And, we do deserve our little luxuries.

Sanctuary
B
esides creating gourd art, one of my passions is interior design. Where you live should be your sanctuary. It should be filled with beautiful things that reflect who you are. Over the years, I have collected many decorative elements, which I have artfully arranged in my apartment. So, when I wake up or come home from a long day out in the world, my space embraces me. It feels like a warm hug.
