Many people find change difficult and they fight against it. One thing I know is life is nothing but change. If we shift our thinking about change and realize that it is the constant, our lives become easier. We become part of the harmonic flow of life.

Why This Blog

I have two other blogs, The Gourdeous Path and Afro-Originals®. The Gourdeous Path is a celebration of my gourd art and a complement to my online portfolio, www.salafaruq.com. Afro-Originals® speaks to one of my other passions, African and African American history and culture. It is the companion to my website, www.afrooriginals.com. So, why this blog? We are all multi-faceted beings with stories to tell. This blog is just another part of my story. It will be filled with things: my passions, my inspirations, my observations on life...
